Faefever - Karen Marie Moning I can't believe she left it like that. If I was reading these as they came out (and thank goodness I'm not), I would have been so mad she left it like that. I can't believe it got to *be* THAT. For some reason, I would have thought some of the things that happened in this book would happen in the next, but I suppose it had to happen now to give time to talk about after, and hopefully get back to a happy place. I mean, the author reminded us that the first book said this is a story about light, so I have to believe Mac will have her HEA. But getting there is beginning to be pure torture... for Mac AND the reader! This is such a well written mystery. I mean it's PNR (maybe bordering on straight urban fantasy), but so many clues, so many unanswered questions, so many what-ifs. My brain is bursting with it all! And even though #5 isn't due out for a couple of weeks, I'm going to torture myself, let myself read #4 KNOWING it ends with a cliffhanger, probably one even bigger than this one based on people's reactions, but I *have* to know what happens next. How could she leave it like this??? Even if I don't have to wait for the next one, I was expecting some semblance of closure when I finished it last night. But no. I have a feeling I'm going to wish she wrote more than five in this series, but there is another series set in the same place coming.
