Hearts in Darkness - Laura Kaye I loved this. It was a novella, so on the shorter end, but still rich in character development and story. I love the idea of the tatted up softy who is afraid of the dark, though I don't like why he is afraid of the dark. I loved the buttoned up accountant who was so willing to laugh at how horrible her day was going, and how they were able to find common ground so easily being in complete darkness and stuck in an elevator for several hours. And they had such great chemistry as well as great conversation. Just a great story. Lots of build-up, and great when they finally made love. I almost typed 'had sex' but it was so much deeper than that. I loved the ending when they were drifting off to sleep and what they said to each other. Very well done.
