This was the funniest book I've read in quite a while. First, the newsletter. But then all the mocking and snarkiness that was Lacey, and all of the mocking and snarkiness that was thrust back at her. Monroe was perfect for her and gave as good as he got. Emmett was hilarious, too. So many great lines. I'd crack up and my husband would ask "What?" It's the book. I'd crack up again and my son would ask "What?" Book. It's funny. Really funny. The only problem is that (a) I was really worried at the end things wouldn't turn out like I liked (and technically they didn't, but they were close), and (b) there's no setup for a sequel. I hope she writes more like this. It was just really funny. And I needed that!
